What is collected
Rayspring OS only holds what you put into it, plus the minimum needed to keep your account secure.
- Your account: name, email address, a hashed password (never the password itself), and — if you turn it on — an encrypted two-factor secret.
- Your workspace content: projects, clients, domains, invoices, notes, files and everything else you enter or upload.
- Security records: who signed in and when, what was changed, and the IP address and browser used for those actions. These exist so you can find out what happened if something goes wrong.
- Cookies: one to keep you signed in, one to remember your language. No advertising or tracking cookies.
What is never collected
- Third-party passwords, API keys, private keys or card numbers. The credential feature records where a password is kept — never the password. There is no database column that could hold one.
- Your data is never sold, rented, or used to train anything.
- If you use the local project scanner, it runs on your own computer and only reads folder names, git remotes and framework markers. It never opens .env files, private keys or your source code, and nothing it skips is sent anywhere.
- No third-party analytics or tracking scripts run on this site.
Where it is kept
On servers rented from the hosting provider named below. Uploaded files are stored outside the public web directory and can only be reached through the application, after a permission check.
Who else is involved
These companies process data on our behalf so the service can run:
- The hosting provider that runs the servers and the database.
- The mail provider that delivers password resets and notification emails.
What you can do
- Download everything, any time, in CSV or JSON, from inside the app. No request, no waiting.
- Correct anything you entered, directly in the app.
- Ask for your account and workspace to be deleted. Deleted records are hidden immediately and removed from backups as those backups age out.

How long it is kept
As long as your account exists. Records you delete are hidden straight away but stay in the database for a period so that an accidental deletion can be undone, and they remain in existing backups until those are rotated out.
